Across this dead world my words ring true; never was I a man and I would be if it weren’t for you.
Eternally, that crudely gathered village rips itself asunder. Minds of minds, fraught with sin and sick; the most depraved of they who dwell beneath the flesh and spirit bubble to the surface to rage against that which limits the chaos. Something you’re well aware of, I’m sure.
Terror fills all paths as the brothers and sisters under this crimson sky kill and consume savagely. This world no longer weeps; its land is soaked by black oceans of the dead whilst flesh and spirit thirst for one another’s blood.
Waves crash against what little shores are left. Bit by bit, everything in their wake is consumed. Nothing survives and it’s all because of you.
Atop a tower I stand in the midst of this ouroboran landscape. Steadily sinking into the infinite dark pools that gaze up at me. Its hatred ebbs and flows through the ether; the only good that has come from your taint.
Sounds of cutting flesh fill the air, followed by the metallic clinks of my blade successively striking against the concrete surface of my abode; the sounds blend together as I work against one of the many of nature’s abominations which she has cursed me to wrestle with. I do not cry out in suffering, for it is my path to retribution.
With my body blackened by dried blood and taint, I strive further toward salvation, excising that which holds me back. The very things that bind me to this realm of eternal death.
Cut. Strip. Scrape. Tear. The agony is my relief and the procedure is the cure.
With every strike, my form shrieks in unrelenting torment and catharsis. My hands, bloodied by my work, within them lay the fruits of my labor.
The sickening blight upon my form was no more. My legs tremble as I begin to stand, endless pain shoots through my entire form. Blood trickles down my inner thighs ceaselessly, from the fresh cavity that now lies between.
The last of my tower sinks into the depths of that dark ocean. Viscous streams of black ooze leap from the waters around me and pull me in.
May rancor take me and cleanse me of sin.
